Near double-double vs. Washington
Maxey provided 28 points (12-20 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 153-131 victory over the Wizards.
The Scoop: Maxey didn't have the most efficient night from three-point range, but he was scoring effectively inside the arc and finished as the 76ers' second-leading scorer behind Paul George (39 points). Maxey was one assist shy from logging his eighth double-double of the season (and first since Feb. 26), but he has dished out at least eight dimes in each of his three outings since returning from a 10-game absence due to a finger injury. Since his return, the two-time All-Star has averaged 25.7 points, 8.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 threes over 40.3 minutes per game.
